How to find The Lodge on the Loch
Travelling By Road
If you are travelling from the south, the road system is straightforward with Onich roughly 85 miles north of Glasgow on the A82, travelling along Loch Lomond, over Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe. Around two kilometers after the Ballachulish Bridge, you will be able to see the Lodge on the Loch signs on your right. Allow three hours from Glasgow to truly appreciate the scenery along the way.
If you are travelling from the north, Lodge on the Loch is about 10 miles south of Fort William on the A82. Around two miles after passing the Corran Ferry, you will be able to see the Lodge on the Loch signs on your left.
Travelling By Rail
The nearest rail station is Fort William, which has regular trains from Glasgow on the West Highland Line and linked to London via the Sleeper service (visit Scotrail for more info). There is then a frequent bus service from Fort William with a bus stop close to Lodge on the Loch. Taxis are also available outside the station.
Travelling by Air
Edinburgh, Glasgow and Prestwick airports are all options for air passengers, but Glasgow is the most convenient, as there is a regular bus from Glasgow Airport or Buchanan Bus Station to Fort William that is operated all year by Stagecoach and Citylink bus companies that can stop directly opposite Lodge on the Loch. Inverness and Aberdeen are also available airports.
