How to find us

Lodge On The Loch Hotel is just off A82, the main road from Glasgow to Inverness . Situated on the boundary of Onich and North Ballachulish , it is ideally located to explore the Outdoor Capital of The UK. Coming from the south, you will pass over the Ballachulish iron Bridge and continue on the A82 for another mile, you will see a Gleaner petrol station on the left and just further on, the hotel is on the right. Look out for the purple signs at our two entrances. From the north, you will pass through Fort William , continue south on the A82 heading towards Ballachulish. Lodge On The Loch Hotel is about 10 miles south of Fort William . After you reach the North Ballachulish sign, look out for our purple sign on the left.

Your arrival

At the Lodge, we have marked parking spaces on either side of the hotel. However, please feel free to park at the front entrance while unloading and loading your luggage. We have a side entrance that is accessible by wheelchair.

Check in is from 3pm. If you arrive earlier, we can check you in if your room is ready, otherwise, we will be delighted to store your bags for you till the room is ready.

Check out is by 11am Monday to Saturday and by 12pm on Sunday.

 

 

What is the Lodge like?

The Lodge is elegant yet not formal. Many guests choose to spend hours in our comfortable lounges to relax and enjoy the views while sipping their drinks. We have a small library and selection of games for those with time to spare.

Our restaurant has no dress code, but some guests prefer to dress smartly for dinner.

  • Stunning first or top floor views over looking Loch Linnhe . Luxurious king-size bed; super king-size bed or twin beds. Comfortable sitting area by the bay window. Fresh flowers.

Are children welcome at the Lodge?
We do not encourage children under 16 due to the nature of the hotel being mainly for romantic stays.
 

What is your smoking policy?
We discourage smoking and we are a non-smoking hotel.
 

Can I bring my pet with me?
We have a few rooms suitable for pets and you should let us know in advance if you intend to bring a pet. However, we do ask guests to ensure that dogs are kept under control when using the public areas.
 

What are the meal times?

Table d'hôte Dinner 6:30 - 9:00 pm Daily menu and or ala carte menu using available local produces. If you have any special needs or requests, our Chef will be delighted to discuss these in advance or during your stay

8:00 - 10:00 am We offer a range of cereals, fruit and yogurt before you choose from our breakfast menu. A cooked vegetarian breakfast is available on request.
Room Service Breakfast 8:00 - 10:00 am A scrumptious in-room breakfast can be provided if ordered the night before.
Lunches 12:00 -1:30 pm We can offer soup and light lunches as well as packed lunches if ordered on booking or 2 day in advance.
